Yesterday, FTVLive told you that WLBT (Jackson, Mississippi) Anchor Barbie Bassett was gone from the Gray station.

Back in October, Bassett was under fire for a comment she made to a Reporter.

Bassett said to the Black Reporter, “I know your mother or your GRANDMAMMY has got….”

It didn’t take long for the blowback, and Bassett apologized the next day.

It appears that after this latest comment and calls from viewers, the station has cut ties with Bassett.
