FTVLive told you how former KUSI (San Diego) Anchor Sandra Maas sued her old station for equal pay.

It took a long time to get to court, but Maas won her case and the station now owes her over a million bucks.

On Tuesday, San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria and City Councilmembers honored the 2023 “Women of Distinction” at the start of the City Council meeting.

This year’s citywide honoree, selected by Mayor Gloria, was Sandra Maas.

My guess is that KUSI did not cover that story.
