Fox News Takes the Muzzle Off of Their Media Critic
It seems that Fox News media reporter Howard Kurtz is experiencing a bit of an identity crisis. Just a few weeks ago, he announced that he would not be covering the defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems against Fox, and now he's calling it a "major test of the First Amendment."
Kurtz seems to be trying to have it both ways, acknowledging that Fox may have acted with "reckless disregard for the truth" while still defending the network's right to air the claims of former President Trump and his allies.
Perhaps the most hilarious part of this whole saga is Kurtz's own confusion about whether or not he should be covering the case. Clearly, Kurtz has shown that he will carry the water at Fox News no matter how big the jug is.
So, good luck to Howard Kurtz and the rest of the Fox News team as they navigate this "major test of the First Amendment."
It has been ruled that despite the First Amendment, you can’t yell “Fire” in a packed movie theater.
We’ll have to wait and see if you can yell “Rigged” in an election that clearly wasn’t.
