Another San Antonio Talent Busted For DUI
Last week, FTVLive told you that KSAT Anchor Greg Simmons was busted for DUI and then “resigned” from his job later in the week.
Now, cops have clamped the cuffs on KABB host Esteban Solis and charged him with driving while intoxicated.
San Antonio police busted Solis shortly before 1 a.m. on Friday. Solis is a host on KABB's Daytime with Kimberly and Esteban. Solis joined the Sinclair station in 2013.
He wasn’t on the air Friday.
According to Bexar County records. The charge said it was Solis' second DWI offense.
In Texas, a second DWI offense is a Class A Misdemeanor. The maximum fine is $6,000.00, and the maximum jail sentence is 12 months. A conviction for this offense is permanent, requires a 3-day jail sentence (even if probation is granted), and results in a driver's license suspension.
You get busted twice for DWI, I say lock’em up and toss the key.
I have no tolerance for people that drive drunk. I lost a family member to a drunk driver and if you drink and get behind the wheel, I hope you are arrested and serve time.
Just saying….
