It’s not uncommon for Anchors to announce that they are leaving at the end of the ratings book.

But it’s not often you see the News Director making that announcement.

WJAX/WFOX (Jacksonville) News Director Lisa Blegen announced that she is leaving the Cox station at the end of the November book.

Blegen says that she wants to spend more time with her elderly parents In Minnesota.

She joined the station back in 2021.
