WETM (Elmira) Meteorologist Alivia Colon posted about her new shift at the Nexstar station.

Colon will be working the evening and late news on Saturdays and then will be back at the station for the early newscasts on Sunday - Thursday.

I guess station management has no problem with Colon only getting a few hours of sleep before having to be back at the station.

I really hope that the station is paying for an Uber for her on Sunday morning. That turnaround could be dangerous week after week.

By the way, WETM has posted jobs looking for Meteorologists at a salary of $15,000 per year.

Hopefully, other stations will take a look at Colon and offer better pay and not-so-dangerous hours.
