Sinclair purchased a number of regional sports networks back in 2019 and bragged about what a great move this was for the company.

Sinclair spent the next few years crashing Diamond Sports straight into the ground, eventually filing bankruptcy.

Now, Sinclair says that after the end of Major League Baseball’s 2024 regular season, they will most likely shut down Diamond Sports.

Sinclair thought when they bought the RSNs, it would turn them into a cable sports powerhouse.

It didn’t happen, and now Diamond Sports is gasping for it’s last breath.
