San Antonio news viewers have been wondering Stephania Jimenez missing from the air on KSAT for the past month.

Jimenez went on social media to address her absence.

"It's hard for me to even begin, but basically I had a miscarriage and there's all the emotional stuff that comes along with it like seeing doctors and all that stuff. And I wanted to make sure I had time to recover," She said in a video.

She did not get into full details but says that she will at a later date. "In due time I will tell you more about what happened, because as I've gone through this I realized this happens to so many people, so many families, so many women who want to start their own families and it can be a real isolating experience. I've certainly felt that way," she said.
