Two Producer Jobs Open in Denver

Nexstar’s KDVR has an opening for a Morning Producer.

The job posting starts out by saying, “The successful candidate should consistently produce a show that stands out as the best in their market.”

The salary range for the job is $53,040 to $60,000.

Across the street, CBS’s KCNC also has an opening for a Morning Producer, and their posting starts with “Are you creative and thrive on producing fast-paced television? This candidate will work with our talented staff to generate new content and help lead the CBS Colorado Morning team to serve the people of Colorado.”

The salary range for the job is $55,000 to $67,000.

In other words, you will likely be making more at KCNC, and it could be by a lot.

If Nexstar wants a person to “consistently produce a show that stands out as the best in their market.”

Shouldn’t they pay that person the most money?

Just asking…
