Yesterday, FTVLive told you that Scripps-owned WTXL (Tallahassee) had officially ended its noon newscast. The noon show has been replaced with Scripps News Live, a national newscast that has little, if any news from Tallahassee.

TFTVLive wrote, “The rumor going around the station is that WTXL’s weekend morning shows will be next to be cut.”

A source tells FTVLive that the station schedule for this weekend has no local news in the morning.

The station had been serving up two hours of local news on both Saturday and Sunday mornings.
