Yesterday we shared some industry advice from WTTG Weather Anchor Matthew Cappucci who thinks that he has the entire TV news business figured out by 23 years old.

FTVLive was flooded with emails from people that thought young Matty was swimming in waters with which he was not familiar.

One Meteorologist working in a bigger market than Cappucci wrote, “I know Matthew thinks he knows it all, but I really hope that the people coming up in this business don’t turn to him for advice.”

A News Director emailed FTVLive to say, “I thought he was a smart kid; I don’t think that any longer.”

Another Anchor that is in her mid-20s working in a 50-something market, said that she learns every day that she has much more to learn. “I will make it to be a top 3 market one day, but right now, I’m listening and learning. I would never even begin to believe that I know it all.”

And then there is this FTVLive reader that pointed this out.

“If he is the "most qualified" then he should at least know the little button on his phone to make sure his video ISN'T BACKWARD.”

Don’t worry, Cappucci will post another video saying this was Tim Cook’s fault and that old guy has no clue what he is doing with computers.
