Howard Bernstein spent 2 decades doing the weather at Tegna’s WUSA in DC before the station nudged him to the door.

After sliding down 100 markets, Bernstein turned up, anchoring the news at Nexstar’s WTAJ in Altoona, PA. FTVLive first told you he was going there.

Bernstein will not be making it two decades at the small market station. In fact, he won’t be making it two years.

Sources tell FTVLive that Bernstein was exited from the station last week, and his bio is already gone from the station’s website.

It appears that Bernstein’s “know it all” attitude wore thin much quicker on the folks at WTAJ than it did in DC.
