I am a long-time reader of FTVLive and enjoy reading it daily. 

I worked with John (Hook) and I can tell you that the consensus is he has been washed up and mailing it in for years.  I'm guessing his tweets are some desperate way to keep himself relevant.  Either way, as you have pointed out it shows a complete lack of objectivity.
