After 13 years at WDIV in Detroit, Anchor Sandra Ali has decided to leave the station.

“They wouldn’t let her say goodbye because they’re getting a lot of crap from the community at the number of people (talent) leaving our station and they don’t want people to notice she quit too,” said a station insider in an email to FTVLive.

WDIV GM Bob Ellis buried the news of Ali’s exit in an internal email that was about a new promo.

You would have hoped that after 13 years in, you could at least get your own memo.
