Gray announced that announced that Al Lancaster, the General Manager of WSAW in Wausau, Wisconsin is going to retire in March after nearly 45 years in the broadcast industry.

If you were thinking about applying for his job, don’t, it’s already been filled.

Betsy Keefe will succeed Lancaster in March. For the past decade, Keefe has been the General Sales Manager for the station.

While we give Gray props for hiring a woman to be GM, we would have loved to seen it be a person from the news department.
