Word is that the strike talk rumors are growing louder amongst the photography staff at CBS O&O, KYW in Philly.

CBS has been in negotiations with the Photog union since mid-2022.

Sources tell FTVLive that the Photogs at KYW make less than all of the other Philly stations and fairly substantially less. The Shooters have been pushing for a raise. 

The CBS suits have been dragging their feet with negotiations and when the two sides do come to the table, it hasn’t been going well.

Sources tell FTVLive that management is requiring all photogs to send an email about their in and out times each day. No one else in the station is required to do that. We hear that Assignment editors are also being trained to shoot video and edit. 

Strike talks are getting louder.
