A Pittsburgh staffer writes in about the dancing videos posted by talent.

While so far we are thankfully limited to certain KDKA personalities doing the TikTok dance-a-thons and other unprofessional videos here in Pittsburgh, I’m afraid this is going to be a losing a battle.
I guess I could care less what you do on a personal page but letting it be linked onto a Company social media page is cringy but they get clicks. Until that changes or the creepy people that encourage them stops then we are stuck with it.
Good luck on your crusade Don Quixote but in the end they’ll still be there.

I'm not a journalist, just a long time local news appreciator in Iowa who came across your website a few years ago.
Does local news station kCCI not care about representation? Talk about lack of diversity - kind of disappointing

I am a former Scripps employee. And while I am more than happy to complain about them, overall it wasn’t a bad company to work for (especially compared to the alternatives.) I saw a few days go, they announced an initiative where they started hiring veteran print journalists to work in their TV newsrooms. What a brilliant idea. At a time when newspapers are being slowly strangled to death, Scripps sees an opportunity. I mean, why not take in all that talent and use it? While Tegna and Fox are hiring TikTok stars, Scripps is doing this.
Keep it up Scott.
