The Des Moines Register did a story about the fact that KCCI Anchor Nicole Tam made history as the station's first Asian American anchor.

It is 2023….

While this is great news for Tam and Asian Americans, I feel like the fact that it took this long to happen, shows just how far we have not come as a business.
