Nexstar Sacks Anchor After Tirade
It might have taken a day longer than it should have, but Nexstar’s KTVI (St. Louis) made the right call by firing Anchor Vic Faust, after he went off on a female colleague.
Faust was appearing on the radio and while off air, he verbally attacked co-host Crystal Cooper.
Faust used profanity at least 40 times in a roughly four-minute tirade that berated Cooper for her weight and parenting skills, among other things.
The former Anchor called Cooper “fat,” “stupid, “nasty,” and said, “Your kids have a “blank” terrible mom. I feel sorry for them.”
You can listen to his rant here.
Faust took to social media a day after his childish rant and said he was sorry.
Too little, too late, he was fired from the Nexstar station and FTVLive sides with the company for making that call.
Hopefully, Mr. Faust can work on his obvious anger issues and come out on the other side.
Oh! Nexstar also needs to order a billboard change:
