Gray’s KVVU announced that it has now added a 2PM newscast to their weekday lineup.

That move has KVVU running news from 1 PM to 7:30 PM on weekdays.

In the same promo, KVVU boasts of running 15-and-a-half-hours of news every weekday.

Now, you might not think there is enough news in Las Vegas to fill all these hours and you’re right.

Watching KVVU in the afternoon, you see so much repeated news that you start to think you are just watching a replay.

But, in all the station’s newscasts, the advertising content is nearly all political spots; as Nevada is considered a 'swing-state' for political elections.

And, let’s be honest, that is the reason you are seeing so much news, even if it is very repetitive.
