Why Were They There?
While most of the gang at Fox News is still trying to cover for Donald Trump and help him make excuses as to why Trump kept classified documents at his resort in Florida, one Fox News host showed some sanity.
“Keep in mind, according to the filing, the agents found three classified documents in Donald Trump’s desks,” Steve Doocy said of Fox and Friends “What were they doing in the desk?!”
“And when you look at these particular things right here, at least five yellow folders marked top secret and another secret SCI —that stands for sensitive compartmentalized information — these are the biggest secrets in the world!”
Doocy was asking the same questions that most people outside Fox News and Newsmax are asking.
Enter Trump cheerleader Ainsley Earhardt, who tried to offer up an excuse.
“His attorneys were asked about this, and he said he had already ordered them to be declassified,” Earhardt said while trying to be a good MAGA puppet.
What almost everyone outside of Fox News understands, even if the documents were declassified, which there is no record showing that they were, they are still not Trump’s documents. He has no right to have them as they belong to the federal government.
The guy that sits across from Doocy also tried to make excuses for Trump, but like most often, it was just rambling.
Props to Doocy for trying to bring some sanity to the Trump network.
