Fredo Stops By News Nation
Nexstar’s savior (at least they think so) hopped on a plane and flew into the Windy City.
Chris Cuomo stopped by the News Nation Chicago offices to press the flesh with the News Nation staffers. Cuomo is set to join the struggling cable news channel this Fall.
Fredo will likely do his show out of New York and the people he met in Chicago this week, he might not see in person again for months, if not years.
“I am not here to be famous,” Cuomo told the staff If I never had to read about myself again, I would be fine with that. I’m ready to travel to the biggest stories - wherever they are - and believe me, my family is ready for me to be out of the house too, even the dog. I’m here to do the work and be part of this dynamic team.”
I believe that his family might be ready for him to go back to work, but I don’t believe for a second that he doesn’t want to read about himself or be famous. Fredo has an ego the size of Texas and he lives for attention.
Fredo and News Nation boss Micheal Corn treated the staff to Portillo’s (Chicago-style hotdogs) after Cumo got done meeting the troops. Because, even Chris Cuomo knows that if you give TV people free food, you make them happy.
