On Friday, FTVLive told you how both the Weather Anchor and the Traffic Anchor at Nexstar’s WXIN in Indianapolis felt the need to share their personal opinions about the college loan forgiveness program on their social media.

WXIN Weather Anchor Jim O’Brien weighed in with his thoughts.

WXIN Traffic Anchor Britt Baker also felt the need to share her opinion.

After FTVLive posted the story on Friday, both Baker and O’Brien deleted their posts. My guess is that they were urged to do so by management.

To Baker’s credit she seems to have moved on. O’Brien continues to harp on it.

Also, I am not a scientist and never claimed to be.

But, as I have read up watched a number of Meteorologists that I respect talk about climate change, it seems like a very real problem.

I see that Jim O’Brien also weighed in, but he sees it differently.

I can assure you, if I lived in Indy, this is not the guy I would trust for weather information.

But hey, that’s just me.
