If you have never been to WSVN in Miami, the station sits on a small island between Miami and Miami Beach.

When I worked at WSVN, I also lived just across the street on that same island.

There were times when weeks would go by in which I never left the island of North Bay Village.

The location is gorgeous (except when a hurricane is lurking) but the station is very old and out dated.

But, that is going to change.

WSVN is getting ready to build a new station from the ground up.

Here is the internal memo that was sent to the staff from GM Paul Magnes.

And yes, it will be state of the art.
