Don't Ever Call Me Again!
WHBQ (Memphis) was doing a story about how houses are not selling as fast as they have been. Of course, everyone knows that as housing interest rates have gone up, it has cooled down a very hot housing market a bit.
One angle that the station decided to take was to contact a local county commissioner whose Mom had recently passed away.
Commissioner Tami Sawyer is now trying to sell her mom’s house and the station thought this would be angle to their housing story, so they texted the still grieving Sawyer.
Needless to say, Sawyer was not really interesting in being part of their housing story. She took to social media to tell the station to never contact her again.
