While most (not all) of the cable news stations were busy on July 4th, covering yet another mass shooting, there was one interesting pivot.

As details came in on the shooting, police named Robert Crimo as the suspect they were looking for, it didn’t take people long to start digging through social media.

Crimo is white and a few pictures surfaced of him draped in a Donald Trump flag and standing at a Trump rally. Police also said that the shooter used a “high powered” rifle to gun down innocent people.

At first Fox News was covering the shooting, but by the time it came out that Crimo was white, a possible Trump supporter, and using some sort of assault rifle, I tuned to Fox News and there was Jesse Watters running a clip in which someone was accusing Joe Biden of being a puppet.

I just wonder if the accused shooter was black, supported ANTIFA, and used a stolen handgun if Watters would have stayed on the story?
