Longtime WFSB Anchor/Reporter Kevin Hogan signed off from the ice cream channel this past weekend.

Hogan has spent nearly 5 decades in TV news and has decided it is time to retire.

No word if he did so when WFSB gave up covering news and just started visiting ice cream shops played a role in the decision?

Of course, on his last day, there was cake.
