At least a couple of people watching the fireworks at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota say that WWSB Anchor Nerissa Lamison told the crowd that she was “highly intoxicated” while hosting the festivities.

She took a selfie on stage that was posted on the park’s social media.

One viewer said that at one point, Lamison said she was “highly intoxicated.”

The Park responded to that post and said that Lamison wasn’t drunk, she’s “naturally exuberant” and “high on life.”

But another person chimed in saying that Lamison said that she was intoxicated.

FTVLive was not there and can’t attest to what was said, but if she did make the comments, I would hope that the station addresses the issue.
