WRAL Anchor Mikaya Thurmond announced that she is leaving the the top rated station after 7 years.

She posted the news to social media, but did not tip her hand as to what is next.

She joined WRAL as a Reporter and was bumped up to Anchor.

Her last day is August 12th.
