Just a couple of weeks ago, FTVLive told you that KING (Seattle) Investigative Photojournalist Adam Thompson had been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.

We pointed you to a GoFundMe page that was set up for Adam and his fiancé Amber Litz, who also works at KING as a video editor.

Sadly, Thompson’s health took a sudden and dramatic turn for the worst this week and he passed away yesterday morning.

KING Chief Investigative Reporter Susannah Frame posted the sad news on her social media.
