You would not expect a guy that is assigned to cover the media to swing and miss so badly, yet here we are.

Fox News media critic Howard Kurtz sent a tweet out about MSNBC naming Alex Wagner as the person that will be replacing Rachel Maddow as Maddow takes a step back at the network.

Kurtz, again the media critic sent out this tweet.

First off, Alex Wagner is not Black, she’s Asian and MSNBC even pointed that out in the press release.

While I don’t watch his show, I do know that CNN’s Don Lemon is Black and he does have a show in prime time.

So, Kurtz’s point that Wagner would be the only Black cable news host in prime time was wrong. Despite the fact that Wagner is not Black.

Kurtz then tried to put the toothpaste back in the tube.

Now, we can point out that Kurtz’s network Fox News does not have a person of color in prime time M-F.

But, don’t expect Howie to bring that up anytime soon.
