Yesterday, FTVLive told you about how WFLA Anchor Josh Benson tried to get a styling new haircut as a reason to cheer on the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Well, needless to say, Benson’s new do was a bust.

The haircut was posted on the station’s Twitter page as the Nexstar station’s profile picture and people made fun of the bad haircut across social media.

Benson took to email the staff at the station, begging them not to name the barber. He didn’t want the guy that messed up his hair to get fired for doing such and awful job.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say, maybe you shouldn’t have put the debacle all over yours and the station’s social media?
