Word is that when WPTA General Manager Merry Ewing walked into work yesterday, Gray Senior Vice President Mike King was waiting for her in her office when she arrived.

Sources tell FTVLive that King informed Ewing that after 6+ years at the station as GM, her services were no longer needed.

Within the hour, King sent an internal memo to the staff announcing the station’s new GM.

Damn, this business can be cold.
