Scripps sacked both the General Manager and the News Director at their Las Vegas station.

KTNV General Manager Chris Way and News Director Nancy Bauer Gonzales have left the station and Scipps’ Vice President of Operations Ed Fernandez said their departures were “effective immediately.”

“For the foreseeable future, I will serve as the interim general manager until a replacement has been found,” Fernandez said in an email. He added that he was not at liberty to expand on company personnel matters.

Way, who joined the station back in 2017 could not be reached for comment. Bauer Gonzales, who joined the station back in 2019, refused to comment.

It doesn’t stop there.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal says that Morning anchor Todd Quinones, executive producer Micah Manalo, and “Morning Blend” co-host Shawn Tempesta have all given notice they will leave the station this month.

The station is also looking for a Creative Services Director.
