Nexstar CEO Perry Sook says he could see a broadcast network in Nexstar’s future.

Looking ahead 10 years, Sook said, ““I wouldn’t be surprised if we owned a broadcast network and maybe other cable networks that we layer on top of our local content foundation,” Sook told a podcast when asked to envision what Nexstar would look like in 2032.

Word is that Nexstar has been looking to acquire a majority stake “The CW” which is a network that no one watches.

So in other words, it will be just like his News Nation cable network.
