You might have seen this story making the rounds yesterday.

A study was done in which Fox News viewers were paid to watch CNN for 30 days.

The study concluded that after the viewers watched CNN, they eventually became more skeptical and less likely to buy into fake news.

First off, I guess if CNN has deep enough pockets, they could start paying Fox News viewers to watch CNN. But, that certainly would be costly as FNC has around 3 million viewers.

Second, why wasn’t this study done the other way as well?

I’m sure if you paid CNN viewers to watch Fox News for a month, they also might see the news differently.

Or, better yet, how about a study that pays people not to watch any cable news and see if they become smarter?

My guess is they would certainly be happier.
