Let’s go to the obligatory sound bites:
“Ty’s dedication to the community we serve is a positive force in our newsroom,” said KCRA 3/My58 President and General Manager Ariel Roblin. “His hard work and desire to bring the big interviews to our viewers is motivated by the genuine responsibility he feels to ask the questions our community wants answers to.”
“For the past several years, Ty has been a bright part of our morning team to help viewers wake up and start their day,” said KCRA 3 News Director Derek Schnell. “His energy and enthusiasm to share stories in our community and shine a spotlight on important issues will make him a wonderful addition to our evening team.”
“What makes KCRA 3 great is its commitment to focusing on stories that bring communities together,” states Ty Steele. “I’m grateful to work at a station where the viewers truly do come first. I feel lucky to continue to grow as a journalist on evenings with so many experienced, caring and talented team members by my side. I’ll miss my morning show team, but at KCRA 3 we’re all one big family.”
