When the staff at CNN and CNN+ were told that management was pulling the plug on the weeks-old streaming service, CNN media critic Oliver Darcy said that many staffers were in “shock.”

Darcy writes:

"At first, people were really freaking out," explained the person. "And then, toward the end of the meeting, it just turned to sadness. Every team was just huddling with each other." CNN+ employees broke out bottles of whiskey and wine to commiserate, and some later retreated to nearby bars...

Wait! So people at CNN have whiskey and wine in the drawers of their desks?!
