Former Cleveland Anchor Looks at Life Outside of News
FTVLive told you that Gray’s WOIO had parted ways with morning Anchor Neeha Curtis last June. FTVLive also told you last month that Curtis is taking legal action against the station for her dismissal.
While her case winds its way through the legal system, it appears that Curtis is moving onto the next stage in life and it will be in the Metaverse.
Curtis is jumping into web 3.0 in the early stages, which is likely a wise move.
She posted about the move on her IG:
Hello! Life update I wanted to share with you. We’ve loved the last 4 years in Cleveland and wished we could have stayed but life of course always has other plans. I’m moving to New York for a new job as the Director of Communications for Jugo— it’s the world's first immersive events platform, and there’s some amazing new technology we’re working on.
I’m not out of TV just yet— I have a couple of projects in the works I’ll be able to share with you in a few weeks.
We’ve lived the past 15 years in the most amazing places. Greenville Mississippi where my first news director still calls me a daughter of the Delta. Louisiana is where I left a piece of my heart. I loved every second of it from the people to the music, and food. Texas well— y’all know I’ll always be a Texan. My daughter was born in Dallas, and I enjoyed an amazing part of my career in DFW. Ohio’s midwest has been kind and gracious- I still remember our neighbors coming over when we moved in with welcome gifts and saying hello (It was weird! Why are these people so nice??)
So many of you have been following my career, & life from Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and the last 4 years in Ohio…I appreciate all of you so much. From my engagement, marriage, to a baby! I’m excited to share the next phase of our life with you.
P.S I'll always know how to pronounce Tchula Mississippi, Atchafalaya Basin, & Waxahachie.
