That's Still a Bit Short Of Millions
Back in February, FTVLive told you that Nexstar’s News Nation was going to be moving Dan Abrams to the more desirable time-slot of 9 PM in a hopes to boost his ratings.
Abrams’ show was averaging just 56 thousand total viewers in his 8PM time slot. But, News Nation head Micheal Corn said that moving Abrams to 9 PM would open him up to “millions of viewers.”
So let’s check on how that is working out.
At 9 PM, Abrams’ show has seen an increase. In his first week, the show averaged 67,000 total viewers and just 10,000 in the 25-54 demo.
While he did see a small bump, I’m fairly certain that 67,000 is still a bit short of millions.
But then again….
