Headed Up The 5

CBS has named a new General Manager of their O&O in San Francisco.

Scott Warren moves from the News Director gig Spectrum News 1 in Los Angeles to the GM of KPIX.

“The Bay Area holds a special place in my heart,” Warren said. “For me and my family, there is no other place like it in the world. I feel honored to join Wendy McMahon, Jennifer Mitchell and the talented KPIX team, and embrace the deep storytelling tradition of CBS as we serve the people of the Bay Area.”

“We are excited to have someone with Scott’s extensive multiplatform experience joining us to lead our operations in the Bay Area,” McMahon said. “Over the course of his 25-plus years in the media industry, he has established impressive credentials as both an innovator and team leader. We look forward to having him guide our team at CBS San Francisco to new heights across our broadcast, streaming and digital platforms.”

Prior to joining Spectrum, Warren was an executive producer at Headline News (HLN) for two years. He produced a daily talk show for HLN hosted by Michaela Pereira. Before that, he spent two years as an executive producer at the Firm’s WFLD in Chicago.
