All In The Family at CBS
Just when you think things at CBS can’t get any more strange, they do just that.
The NY Post reports that CBS Co-President Neeraj Khemlani is looking to make a number of cost-cutting moves at the Eye.
I guess we should say, additional cost-cutting moves since Khemlani has been slicing and dicing ever since he joined the network.
But, here’s the kicker.
According to the Post, Khemlani has hired the firm FTI Consulting to help him decide what, where, and who to cut. This is despite the fact that FTI doesn’t appear to have significant experience in media and broadcast consulting.
So how did CBS land on this firm?
Well, FTI’s FTI senior managing director is Sanjeev Khemlani.
If the last name sounds familiar, Sanjeev is indeed the brother of Neeraj.
Funny how that works?
