A number of staffers at CBS News have reached out to FTVLive to say that they were surprised to see CBS Evening News Anchor Norah O'Donnell not fronting the newscast on Monday night?

While it was President’s Day and a day that network Anchors often take the day off, yesterday was different.

With Russia on the verge of war with Ukraine, both ABC’s David Muir and NBC’s Lester Holt reported to work on Monday.

CBS had Jericka Duncan (screenshot above) filling in for O'Donnell.

“For someone who makes 8 million dollars a year, this is a journalistic crime,” said one CBS News insider to FTVLive.

Some wonder with all the talk of CBS looking to possibly replace O’Donnell, that she has basically “given up”?

With war looming, every main network Anchor should be fronting the news.
