Longtime WRC Reporter Pat Collins says he is stepping down at the end of the year.

The DC native jokes, "My career has morphed into two things. I cover murders, and I measure snow."

Of course, he has done a lot more than just that.

While it doesn’t take that long for Anchors, it takes years for a Reporter to become a household name in a market.

Pat Collins did that with great writing and strong reporting.

DC viewers will miss that.

But hey, you still have Reporters at WTTG’s Sierra Fox, who doesn’t write nearly as well as Collins, but she can dance.

And isn’t that all we want out of today’s Journalists?
