WTAJ Chief Met Joe Murgo announced that he is leaving the Altoona station in the near future.

Murgo said in a social media post that his, “time at WTAJ is going to be coming to a close toward the end of winter.”

It certainly doesn’t sound like this was his plan.

In his post he wrote, “Let's keep this a positive note and not speculate too much on the reasons.” Which, of course, will have everyone speculating on the reason.

FTVLive will just put his post down below and we won’t speculate as to the reason he is leaving.
