The Soap Opera at Good Morning America
The story has become a dream for the tabloids as two married (to other people) hosts of Good Morning America appear on air together and then reportedly hook up off camera.
Depending on which tabloid your read, ABC plans to do nothing about the alleged relationship, or they plan on splitting the two up on air, or they plan on firing both.
What will really happen? Right now, I think we will have to wait and see. But, ABC is owned by Disney, and Disney is very protected of its brand. If the company thinks the affair is hurting the brand, some sort of action will be taken.
But Disney loves money, and in the short term, the affair has some people tuning into the late-hour GMA for the first time. That means higher ratings and more money in Disney’s bank account.
There is one issue that is sure to make the GMA suits cringe. If you believe Page Six of the NY Post, then Amy Robach is not the first fling for T.J. Holmes at GMA.
Page Six says that Holmes had a three-year affair with married “Good Morning America” producer Natasha Singh that started in 2016. Holmes was also married.
Multiple sources told Page Six the cheating duo confided in Robach about their infidelity. “Amy was the person they went to talk to about their affair and marriages,” an insider claimed.
As we said, this is a dream story for the tabloids, and it could be a big headache for ABC.
Stay tuned…
