Changing Channels....

The NWT Group is very proud to congratulate the following journalists on their moves within the industry:

Veronica Miracle joins CNN as a National Correspondent based in San Francisco. She moves from KABC in Los Angeles where she was a Weekend Anchor/Reporter.

Dee Dee Gatton joins Sinclair's The National Desk in Washington, DC as a Weekend National Anchor/Correspondent from WBTV-Charlotte where she was a Weekend Anchor.

Madeleine Wright moves to her hometown to the CBS O&O KYW in Philadelphia as a Reporter from WPLG in Miami where she was a Reporter.

Lauren Melendez joins the team at the NBC O&O WBTS in Boston as the Weekend Morning Anchor and Reporter, moving from the Weekend Evening Anchor/MMJ at WOWT in Omaha.

Laura Haefli is also heading to Boston to the CBS O&O WBZ to report. She moves from the CBS O&O in Sacramento KMAX/KOVR where she was also reporting.

Carmen Valencia moves to Spectrum in Los Angeles as a Reporter/MMJ. She was a Reporter at Yahoo News in Los Angeles.

Jeff Butera moves North to Tampa to be a Weekday Anchor at Spectrum's Bay News 9. He leaves WZVN in Fort Myers, where he was the primary Evening Anchor.

Frankie Katafias jumps 90 markets and heads to her hometown of Seattle to join KIRO as a Weekend Weather Anchor leaving KIVI in Boise where she was the Morning Weather Anchor.

Andres Gutierrez joins the CBS O&O in Detroit WWJ/WKBD as a Reporter/MMJ leaving KSHB in Kansas City, where he was a Reporter.

Andrea Henderson is the new 7pm Anchor/Reporter at KDVR in Denver from WCMH in Columbus where she was an Anchor/Reporter.

Chelsea Jones moves to Miami to report for CBS O&O WFOR from Providence where she anchored weekends and reported for WPRI.  

Madison Carter moves North to join WSOC in Charlotte as an Investigative Reporter and Anchor. She moves from Tegna's National Investigative Team “Atticus”, based in Atlanta.

Angela Brown has been named as the Host of Sinclair's The National Desk - Morning Weather Show. Angela will continue to be a National Correspondent for The National Desk Morningdition.

Steven Graves moves south to sunny Florida to anchor at WPBF in West Palm Beach as a Morning Anchor from CBS O&O WBBM in Chicago where he was an MMJ/Reporter.

Pattrik Perez heads home to Florida to the FOX O&O WOFL in Orlando as a Nightside Reporter from KMGH in Denver where he was a Reporter.

Kristen Skovira joins WCPO in Cincinnati as a Weekday Morning Anchor from KIVI Boise where she was an Anchor/Reporter.

Anna Azallion joins WCPO in Cincinnati as a Reporter from KIVI in Boise where she was a Reporter.

Eric Perry has been promoted to Weekend Evening Anchor/Reporter from Reporter at the FOX O&O WAGA in Atlanta.

Nick Foley joins the morning team as an Anchor at WHIO in Dayton from WPHL, the CW in Philadelphia.

Grant Stephens is now reporting in his home town of Kansas City at KSHB after two years reporting in Tulsa for KOTV.

Kristen Aguirre moves to Grand Rapids as a Weekday Morning Anchor. She moves from WLOS in Ashville, where she was a Weekend Anchor and Reporter.

Elizabeth Kuebel is the new Weekend Anchor in her home town New Orleans at WDSU.  She comes from Knoxville where she anchored weekends at WATE.

Yona Gavino has moved back to her hometown of Pensacola, FL where she is the Weekend Anchor/Weekday Reporter for WEAR. Previously she was freelancing at KXAS, the NBC O&O in Dallas.

Johnny Resendiz moves to Las Vegas as a Reporter for KTNV after reporting for two years at KOTV in Tulsa.

Ryan Gold is the morning meteorologist in Chattanooga at WTVC from weekend meteorologist at WJBF in Augusta, Georgia.

John Hayes is the new Weekend Anchor in Tulsa at KTUL after reporting and producing weekends for two years in Wichita at KAKE.

Rodney Dunnigan makes the leap from on-air to management. Rodney is now the Assistant News Director at WSYX/WTTE in Columbus. He moves from being the Weekend Anchor/Managing Editor at the same station.

Morgan Young is promoted to Investigative Reporter at WFAA in Dallas. She was previously anchoring weekends and reporting. 

Christine Stanwood is promoted to Weekend Anchor in less than a year at the ABC station in Phoenix KNXV.  

Nicole Fierro has been promoted to Weekend Morning Anchor and Reporter at KDVR in Denver from a Reporter/MMJ at the same station.

Rebecca Schleicher has been promoted to 9am Anchor at WTVF in Nashville. She will continue as Traffic Anchor/fill-in Anchor for the weekday morning show. Rebecca also reports.

Jeff Wagner has been promoted to 4pm Weekday Anchor/Reporter from Sunday Evening Anchor/Reporter at WCCO, the CBS O&O in Minneapolis.

Kirsten Swanson has been promoted to Sunday Anchor/Investigative Reporter from Investigative Reporter at KSTP in Minneapolis.

Derek Dellinger has been promoted to the Weekend Anchor at WJZY, the FOX station In Charlotte. He was previously a Reporter.

Pilar Pedraza has been promoted to Sunday Evening Anchor/Senior Reporter from Senior Reporter at KAKE in Wichita, KS.

Norma Garcia has signed a new agreement as the 5 & 10pm Anchor for KXTX the Telemundo/NBC O&O in Dallas.

Nestor Flecha will continue as the Chief Meteorologist at KXTX the Telemundo/NBC O&O in Dallas.

Kyle Roberts renews his deal with WFAA in Dallas as a Meteorologist.

Melody Mendez signs a new Anchor agreement in her hometown of Boston at the NBC O&O WBTS.

Nicole Grigg renews her contract as a Reporter at KPNX in her hometown of Phoenix.

Maia Belay Renews her contract at WEWS in Cleveland as a Reporter and Fill-in Anchor.

Iris Hermosillo inks a new agreement as the Morning Meteorologist at KNXV in her hometown of Phoenix.

Reporter Kim Wynne signs a new agreement at NBC O&O WTVJ in Miami.

Mallory Nicholls has renewed her agreement with Spectrum News 13 in Orlando as the Evening Weekday Meteorologist.

Josh Roe renews his agreement as the Primary Evening Anchor at WTVC in Chattanooga. As a Marine Corps Veteran, he will also continue to be the station's primary Military Reporter.
