40 and Done in Raleigh
After nearly 40 years as a beloved TV meteorologist, Bill Reh retired from CBS 17 WNCN on Friday.
Despite his love for his job, Reh is looking forward to his newfound free time and plans to spend it with his family, volunteering, and possibly even taking beach trips. While he admits that the actual leaving part was "bittersweet," he is excited to have Christmas off for the first time in ages and to visit his daughter in Florida.
Reh's retirement comes after he signed a six-month contract with the station in June, which he says helped him make the decision to retire as he had been "hemming and hawing" for years.
While he is a little worried about getting bored, Reh is ready to see what the future holds and is open to the possibility of a new job at Costco if he does.
