The cable news ratings race was the same old story, but there is a twist.

Fox News once again won the ratings race, but FNC was down 16% both in total day and primetime demos.

Fox News ratings for Total day were up, but they were up just 1%. MSNBC was up 13% and CNN was up 12%.

In primetime, Fox was down 6%, MNBC was up 10%, and CNN was up 14%

CNN failed yet again to crack 1 million viewers in primetime.

TOTAL DAY

FNC: 1,569,000 total viewers – up 1% (227,000 in 25-54 – down 16%)
MSNBC: 752,000 total viewers – up 13% (93,000 in 25-54 – up 16%)
CNN: 560,000 total viewers – up 12% (124,000 in 25-54 – up 13%)

PRIMETIME

FNC: 2,442,000 total viewers – down 6% (356,000 in 25-54- down 16%)
MSNBC: 1,204,000 total viewers – up 10% (148,000 in 25-54 – up 4%)
CNN: 749,000 total viewers – up 14% (190,000 in 25-54 – up 26%)
