FTVLive told you that back in April, as the Major League Baseball season was just getting started, KING (Seattle) Anchor Jake Whittenberg posted this tweet

Well, the Mariners have ended their playoff drought and that means old Jake is going to get clipped.

Of course, since this is a Tegna station, KING will take time out of reporting the news to show Whittenberg’s co-anchor Mimi Jung will attempt to shave an “M’ on the back of Whittenberg’s dome.

If this gives the Tegna station a bump in the ratings, look for Tegna stations across the country to be shaving the heads on their anchors.
